My washing machine is dying a slow death, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have a nice size family, not being able to do laundry whenever I need is frustrating to say the least!
Which machine would you recommend? Needs to be able to handle a nice amount, clean clothes well (obviously ) and be energy efficient. Til now I had a front loader, not stackable and was happy with it. It's 13 years old so I can't just get the same one again.
Thanks in advance.

My washing machine is dying. It's 25 years old & I've had it fixed over the years, but my repairman says it's time to give up & buy a new one. Ugh.
I need help.
I'm getting lots of conflicting advice.
Anyone have a machine that
1-gets the laundry clean
2-doesn't take forever to run a load
3-can wash 2 sets of linen in 1 load (2 sheets, 2 duvet covers, 2 pillowcases)
Please provide brand name & model # if you can. Thanks!

I have a Maytag washing machine, model WTW7000DW3. I'm happy with it. It cleans nicely, takes about 1/2 an hour for a load, and I'm able to fit in two large bed sets. I believe it's enegy efficient, but I can't say for sure. You could probably look that up online. It's a top loader. Good luck.
