They’re both nice but I wouldn’t use either. Too many syllables for my personal preference. I tend to like shorter, easier to pronounce names

Lol. I like both names, but was just trying to get a feel for whether others find these names pretty. And if one of the names was clearly preferred, it would likely sway my opinion in that direction. It seems pretty 50/50. I'll probably sleep on it for a bit.
Thank you everyone for your feedback!!

Do you have boys?
If you have an Avi or an Eli (or might name it in future after a relative), you may specifically want a girl's name that doesn't sound similar (or maybe you do )...

I find Avigail a bit of a mouthful.
Something about the sequence of the second and third syllables seems awkward to me. I do like the English pronunciation though. Abigail does away with that awkwardness somehow. |
I feel the same way even though Avigail is my name.

There's also the name Avigal.
I had a girl by that name in my HS class.
It's simpler and more straightforward than Avigail.
However, the tanachic personality of that name (Avigal bat Nachash, the aunt of Yoav) is not really elaborated in tanach and thus comes nowhere near that of Avigail who was not only a neviah but also the only woman in tanach described as both beautiful AND smart and who indeed used those attributes for a righteous purpose.
