To clarify, right now I am on United Healthcare community plan. I'm starting a new job iyh and want to clarify what the brackets are, how much I can make, copays and costs per month etc. I am not looking to reapply at the moment but want my new salary to reflect what I'll need the next time to recertify for insurance.
I just want someone who's knowledgable and ready to explain things to me.
I found the website very confusing

What do you mean by comparable? Do you mean comparable in price, or comparable in terms of the network of doctors?

In terms of network of doctors, deductibles for hospital stays, etc.
I'm trying to compare apples to apples.

Network-oxford has a much better network than marketplace plans. All the major employer based plans (bcbs, Aetna, oxford etc) have much wider networks than marketplace plans. That is the reason I have oxford, (even though for me personally a marketplace plan would be cheaper) because I want to be able to go to specific doctors/specialists In Manhattan who do not take marketplace plans. If it is important to you to keep your current doctors, call them and ask which marketplace plans they take, and see if there is one that overlaps between most of them

As far as deductibles-that depends which plan you choose. You can choose a high premium/low deductible or low premium/high deductible. Even within oxford there are higher and lower deductible plans. My employer offers us four options for oxford, which range from no deductible to a few thousand dollars. There isnt a specific deductible amount that applies to all marketplace plans

When I look at my sheet from work where it does comparisons on plans, there are many categories - e.g. advanced radiology, emergency room, hopspital, etc, aside from the doctor's ,so there are lot of factors besides the copy on your doctor's and specialist's visits. Also as you say, there's a smaller network, so I'm not sure which one is the best option.
