Can it be kosher? Would the original donor animal have to be schechted to avoid eiver min hachai?

I would assume there would need to be a lab mashgiach timidi and special certification of the original animal.

Their is a halacha that if a mother cow was shechted and a baby calf is found inside, the baby calf does not need to be shechted. Because it is deemed as part of the mother. I wonder if this falls under the same category.

But since the cells have unique DNA, can they be their own hashgacha - kind of like the FDA milk standards discussion?
