Olbas oil
Eucalyptus in the diffuser (some humidifiers allow for essential oils).

Maybe he has dust mite allergies? Get an allergen friendly bed sheet for his crib. Get rid of all rugs. Wash his linen (and curtains if there are in his room) 1x a week. Mop regularly. Dust with Pledge dust spray.

He has enlarged adenoids aswel so thats contributing.

Is it all the time or seasonal?
Vicks rub on chest. Ask your doctor if you can give him Claritin or Benadryl before bed.

Cut an onion in half and put it near his head. The room might smell a bit... But helps

Have you tried sitting with him in the bathroom with the door closed and the shower running? Takes about 15-20 minutes but usually calms them down.
You can also sit outside with them in the cold for the same amount of time, just make sure to bundle up.

This.
Also try a warm air humidifier.

Sounds very much like a post nasal drip. As a kid I had it very often untill my mother worked on my immune system. It's very annoying. For my kids I rub Vicks vaporub on the chest. It takes like 10 minutes to take effect but it helps more than anything else I tried.

Sliced onions should help a lot. It helped me when I had covid.
Or try rubbing warm olive oil on his chest.

If he has enlarged adenoids, most likely nothing will help. They need to be removed.

As well as the above, try a good air purifier (like Germ Guardian). I find it really helps with seasonal allergies, if you think that's what it might be

Try B&T Honeopathic Cough Remedy for kids. Just not sure the dosage
https://smile.amazon.com/Boeri.....r=8-5
I also love Zarbees chest rub after a warm bath. Read the directions and put on the bottom of the baby's feet it really helps!
