Is there any way to fight lab bills?
Get discounts ?
My dr told me they need to do a blood test to check one thing ended up requesting a full blood test. Now I’m getting tons of bills for labs!
Any advice?

Did the lab submit to your insurance? That’s the first thing to check.

In my experience the most they offered me was a payment plan, but no discounts.
I try to be more on top of my labs now, and ask my Dr if everything he is ordering is really necessary, because it can get quite costly

Some dr offices will help fight/lower the bill.
Most labs will give you a payment plan option.
