Anything under 75$ is exempt from customs.

Still, my last Amazon orders never arrived (from 3 different sellers!) and I had to fight tooth and nail to get my money back.

First they told me the packages were "in transit". Then they told me that they were delayed because of Corona. After 45 days, when my window for refund had run out, they stopped answering my emails all together. When I left bad reviews they deleted them.

I am SERIOUSLY angry with Amazon for this.

You can get the same stuff on Borderfree or Aliexpress in a much more reliable manner.

Post a link of what you want to buy, and we can help you find it from a more reliable source.

90% of what I order from Amazon arrives on time, straight to my door.
The only issue is that delivery is expensive.
Once in a while something is delayed/I get a message it was sent back, and then I get an automatic refund.
If you order up to $75 there is no tax (75 on the item, excluding shipping).

If it’s higher than $75. How much is the tax and does it get delayed because of the tax?

they have a different voltage in Israel to the USA. Maybe order from Amazon.de, it will have the same voltage.

Sorry you've had such bad experience, FF!

I recently received an order in under 2 weeks, directly to my door (and a good thing it arrived too, because it contained Purim costumes and MM supplies). The only downside to ordering Amazon here is the delivery costs...

I ordered two assortments of costume jewelry in recent weeks. The first one got here within about 2 weeks with no problems. The second order got split, I received all but one item which is supposed to get to me in the next few days, as by tracking information. Last year, I ordered 3 or 4 times jewelry items, clothes and accessories from Amazon, all got delivered alright and in time. I always make sure to stay under the customs limit of 75 $. The delivery fee they have this year is of course annoying - last year it was free.

I don't think it's delayed, but the person picking it up will need to pay tax online, on the app, before they pick it up. They will get a message explaining this once the package is waiting for them.

I do think you need to enter an ID number or passport number when ordering to Israel because of the tax issue.

Me too! Just got 2 orders very quickly.

OP, don't send an instapot with US voltage.
You will need the recipient's Teudat Zehut so the delivery person can verify identity.

You're better off ordering one of the brands available for purchase here in Israel. The websites are in Hebrew but we can help if you like. There's plenty of options.
