How did you get rid of oral thrush in a newborn?
Did the thrush affect how the baby was eating? My baby very often pushes the bottle out of his mouth with his tongue and now I’m wondering if the thrush was bothering him. I wish that it was that so we can take care of it and he can eat nicely again.

Daktarin buccal gel is the only thing that worked in my case!!!(the liquid nystatin does nothing!!)
Treat yourself even if you don't have symptoms, with one of my kids we kept on passing it to each other until I treated baby and mother at the same time!!

Is that prescription? Doc prescribed an anti fungal cream.
How would I treat myself? I have no evidence of thrush and I’m also barely nursing.

my baby was throwing up from the medicine so dr prescribed something else.
im also not nursing...
whats your baby taking now?
