Pretty sure they need Union guys for this.

I live in Deblasio's nabe, Chuck Shumer's nabe too. We are desperate for a pick up.

I live in a nabe where the sanitation workers live. Even my neighbor is retired sanitation. Yes, the pickups were really late this week, but my garbage was still picked up twice this week. I thought that was an interesting tidbit to share.

It doesn't matter. Garbage must be picked up in Brooklyn. It's a genuine health hazard.

How will our politicians come through for us in BP (before we get buried in garbage and it causes an unhealthy situation, etc), what is their plan?

There are no politicians in our neighborhoods who actually have any power to do anything. Deblasio is planning on opening homeless shelters and while there are some protests, he will proceed with it anyway because he is an authoritarian dictator who wants to destroy good neighborhoods. He has openly said it but Jews still vote for him and other socialist democrats who want to destroy NY. Perhaps advocates like Heshy Tischler may have stopped all the crazy but no one is voting for him because he is too aggressive so you are stuck with politicians who are polished but dont accomplish anything. NY is openly letting Jews know that we are not welcome but Jews are not getting the message. How much worse does it have to get until we get the message that we are not welcome and leave? And why are we still voting for the same old socialist politicians who do nothing but destroy our communities?

But, yes, COVID is still a thing, and there are other colds/viruses/illnesses going around too that in the current climate, will take out a whole team for at least a few days or more since they look like COVID, are contagious, and will take people out of work anyways while they are ill.

Do you remember anything like this garbage situation in the last 20 years? Am I forgetful?

Yes, for at least the past 30 years if not longer. After blizzard after blizzard, absolutely. When the sanitation truck drivers have been driving the snowplows, they can only work so many hours in a row due to safety. This leaves fewer workers to pick up trash.
