I just bought a pizza maker in Bingo for $25, and promised my husband up and down that I would actually use it.
What do you make in yours? (milchig or fleishig)
How long do you cook it for?
Open or closed?
Exact recipes are a plus.
Thanks all!

How do you know when things are ready? Just by looking at them?

I use mine pretty much daily. grilled cheese, frozen pizza, fish sticks n french fries, frozen vegetables topped with cheese, frozen breaded fish, pizza wraps, fish patties, frozen cheese danishes...
Most things take just a few minutes. I go by look.

So you put things in once the light goes on, and then you check on them constantly? Any hard and fast rules to go by?

I just don't understand why a regular frying pan, or a toaster oven, wouldn't be just as good.

Any fish or chicken or meat(without bones)
It’s cooks really fast
Use parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup
Grill vegs, (fresh or frozen) French fries, bourekas, slices reg or sweet potatoes
Practically anything

What makes this better than a toaster oven? Is it much faster?

I use mine daily (milchigs) and completely put away my toaster oven:
Pizza bagels
toasted bread
fish sticks
pizza
grilled cheese
blintzes
pancakes
I buy the frozen bagels and make them in the betty crocker
homemade pizza
latkas
eggs
french toast
Basically, you can make anything in it. I know people who make cookies and pasta in it as well
