What’s your go-to I have nothing in the fridge dinners?

Mine is shakshuka (frozen peppers and half a jar of tomato sauce and cracked eggs) + whole wheat bread for the two of us.

Wraps. Open a can of corn, of baked beans, cut up a tomato and an avocado if I have. Open a jar of salsa. Done.

That sounds good. Are you full after dinner?

Yep. If I'm still hungry after the first wrap, I have a second. And the kids can choose what they put in or don't.

I’ll second that answer.

But while I have learned on this site that I would be ostracized for my Graco stroller, old clothes, and inexpensive shoes, B”H I never worry about having food to eat and I tend to horde meat/chicken and at the moment have no idea how I am going to get through my freezer before pesach.

Omelettes and sliced veggies. Or rice and beans. Or noodles and cottage cheese. Before kids, when, like OP, it was just the two of us, it was also shakshuka.

This thread is kind of funny because when I think of no food in the fridge, what to make, I likely have no eggs, cheese, tuna, and assorted things mentioned. I probably have some odd pieces of bread left and maybe a box of pasta. I would either have to make plain toast, pasta, or go shopping!
