I usually get cheap faux leather ones from Children's Place

Off original topic:
Can I ask for suggestions for a 10 year old with a HUGe foot (size 40)? I don't want him in adult style shoes yet.

There's a company on Amazon called Marc joseph that has real leather shoes. If you look at different styles and sizes, some are as cheap as $10!

Ours were suede, the suede faded really quickly but the actual shoe held up nicely. Doesn’t look gorgeous but works.

I did well with the Max and Jake line from DSW. They're cute, cheap, and good for skinny feet because they're Velcro

Yes, similar experience here. Although if I recall correctly, my son went puddle jumping the first time he wore them, so I attributed it to that.

So the shoes we had were also suede and that part was fine. It was the construction of the shoe itself that didn't hold up. And this is NOT the DC who usually destroys their shoes.

I ordered two different styles for my five year old. One seems to be much more well constructed than the other. I think it really depends on the style. We haven’t used it long enough to know if it actually will hold up. I guess I’ll come back and update after the summer Smile

Depends on the shoe. They last me about 3 - 6 months.m depending on the style Even 3 months for a leather shoe at $15 isn’t too bad. That is what my girls wear for booties and school shoes.

The Sizing is also all over the place.

Sky and cnc, I'm glad to hear that I shouldn't give up on this company. I figured it was one of those things people get hyped up about that just doesn't live up to the hype. For this season we're all set, but I'll try them again for the next iy"H.
