How do y’all do it?? I’ve been pushing the stroller with one hand and holding an umbrella with the other hand and it slows me down considerably. And my hand that was pushing the stroller is now sore and tired. I push with my left hold the umbrella with my right. Every time I switch (after like 5 minutes) I go all over the place. I would love a solution where I can push with both hands while keeping dry!!
I have a plastic rain cover for the stroller so my son is snug and dry.
I do have one of those cheap rain coats with the hood that has plastic attached to it but only older people wear it where I live. I get cold in it too.
Need some tips
Thanks

A good raincoat and boots and waterproof gloves. I have the shayne coat. It’s not cute, but it’s long with a big hood.

Put on a raincoat with a rain bonnet.

I have boots BH!!
I do have one of those incredibly cheap rain coat with an elastic at the waist and a LARGE hood with a plastic thingy attached at the end to see but I am FREEEEEZINGGGGG in that even if I layer up
I guess it is worthwhile to save up for a good raincoat.
I don’t wanna ruin my wig. So I guess I’ll go out in a snoodie or wear a cheap synthetic one XD

Spend on a good long raincoat with a hood. Something that has a flattering shape.
And also buy a $3 rain bonnet that a brim all around from BCL Trimming on 13th Ave. Keep one in your purse, one in your diaper bag. And one in your coat closet at home.

Put on a me-il raincoat or poncho on top of your coat, not instead of a coat.

I have something like this, paid a little less. My mother got it for me as a kallah and I felt like it was a lot to spend for a rain coat but she insisted. I can not bless her enough, in every heavy rain, drizzle, snow, summer thunderstorm, shabbos weekday etc I call her up and thank her again for this amazing purchase. It makes a HUGE difference to have a decent thick raincoat. I wear it with rain boots and I'm all set no matter the weather and I feel dressed up in it.

Thank you all so much. My husband brought me a rain bonnet. Hopefully I’ll stay dry. I guess I’ll wear the cheap raincoat for now

I wore the cheap rain coat on top of my winter coat if I had to go out in the rain.
