Anyone else's kids say things backwards? Like when learning to speak, first words. Pchi instead of chips.
One kid said puc instead of cup. Another added another c at the end: cupk.
I think it's hilarious

DS2 didnt want to share his snack with his older sister. When she got upset I told her he is little, he doesnt understand. DD replied yes he does understand! To which DS2 quickly responded: no not understand.
Seems DD was right on this one.

Someone told dd2 See you later, Alligator!
After a confused pause, she responded "I'm not an Alligator! "
She also saw a baby wearing a little hat w ears and asked me, "is that the cat in the hat?"

Esty (2): "I want an orange!"
DH: "I'm getting you an orange."
Esty: "I want an orange!"
DH: "I'm peeling you an orange."
Esty: "I want an orange!"
DH: "I feel like I'm talking to the wall!"
Esty: "No, you're talking to Esty!"
Me, flustered: "Oy, I'm such a mess!"
Esty: "You're not a mess, you're a mommy!"

Me: "To do a mitzvah!"
DS, watching DH get in the car 2 minutes later: "Abba's going to do muktza!"

These are so cute.
Today my 2 and a half year old asked my husband, can I have a snack? My husband said no. He turned back and breathed heavily, yoish.
He calls his shabs robe kabes (shabs) kodesh. Ma, wanna put on my kabes kodesh.

For reference in Chabad we celebrate the first Chabad Rebbe's release from prison (he was officially arrested for aiding the Turks by sending money to chasidim in Israel)
Anyway my 3 year old said "Hey! The hamentashen have jelly just like the Alter Rebbe came out of jelly!"

I was telling dd I can’t believe she’s turning 5 and I remember when she was so tiny and now she’s such a big girl!
she goes- “Well that’s how life works!”
She was also taking her shirt off and it got stuck on her head and my dd2 started cracking up and said “you’re a mommy!”

Actually not a toddler.. my DD 6yo asked me at the shabbos table "Mummy, did you ever have other children who used to live here and now they are married?"
(had to explain to her that children stay ours forever and ever even after their marraige)
On the same note when she was 4.5/5yo she told my teenage daughter "when you will be married and I will meet you on the road I will remind you that you once lived in our home."

Hahah! My youngest sibling was born after I had my 1st. He was convinced I'm his cousin. It took him years to understand I'm his sister.
