The one I usually go to is busy with a lot of wigs so I can’t go to her.
Would like some numbers to call
I called my friends and they don’t know anybody who’s taking wigs now.
Just a regular wash and set for a Yom tov
1 wig only
Thanks!

I think you’re quite late for the erev Yom Tov rush.

I’m waiting to hear from Chaya.
(Texted her)
Do these shaitel machers do synthetic?
I usually wear human hair but that’s my every day wig.
If not then I’ll just send in the human hair one.

Sorry:( I don’t usually know WHEN people start sending shaitels for a Yom tov.
For that I need to know when is the best time to send a shaitel to be done
I should’ve asked someone. Oy:(
I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask if there’s anybody still available to do a wig,

She replied she can do it off the head but I’ll just give her the human hair one. It hasn’t been washed since January 24 lol....so it’s blah and kinda smelly since I wear it every day.
Anybody know how I can freshen it up without ruining it?
Thanks.

Make an appointment for before Yomim Tovim a month and a half before. You'll be able to get am appointment for 2 weeks before pesach. But only if you set it up in advance.
It takes time for every newlywed to learn this.

No need to be sorry! I think we all learned that lesson once and then remembered for the next year!
I used to be frantic last minute but then I learned the hard way🙂

That makes sense. I wore a snood last year when corona started, we stayed home.
Then the year before that I still had the noriko nicely styled (and that was my only wig)
Since then I brought the cheap 25-35 dollar ones from eBay and now they’re BLAH and knotty and thinned out.
So this year more than 2 years after I married I started taking my wig to a shaitel macher lol. It’s embarrassing but better late than never 😂
