Has anyone stayed at the wave resort in long bran NJ? It sounds pretty new. And which restaurants are open now in the area?

LBK is in the hotel, but I'm not sure if they opened yet for the year. Their food is very good.
Theres no other kosher restaurant in the hotel AFAIK, but it's near the kosher places in deal...

LBK is closed for the winter, but the hotel lobby has a case of prepared food from Freddy’s- salads/sushi/etc. For a list of other restaurants that are currently open (it’s most of them), follow JSOR (jersey shore orthodox rabbinate) on Instagram or google.

We were just there and had a very nice experience. We ate in Butchers Steakhouse food was very good and service was excellent. Breakfast We stopped by chocolate soda and they were very nice and the food was also very good. Both are under the JSOR certification.

The hotel gives you a paper which list kosher restaurants nearby. Deal is close to Lakewood which has many excellent restaurants but there are also some in deal.

I stayed there one night it is very nice and right on the beach. not sure of any minyanim so close by but there are a couple shuls in long branch/deal. ohel simha, rabbi diamons yeshiva, and shul of deal. right across from the wave is a new high end restaurant called salt its very good but very expensive. there is also coney waffle, slices, LBK, stingers, and ocean 656.
