I made one one year that was delicious but can't find it.

I make my reg. sesame chicken recipe replacing the corn starch with potatoe starch and leave out the sesame and soy sauce in sauce

VERY unhealthy Very delicious
I don't know amounts
The only way I get the authentic crunch is with the double frying method - if some one has a different way all ears.

mix chicken with salt, pepper, kp baking powder (it makes the entire difference don't as me why), granulated garlic
then coat in potato starch
fry, remove from oil, dry out with paper towel and fry again
sauce:
brown sugar, honey, chili flakes, chayene pepper, vinegar, kp ketchup

Dredge in potato starch and fry
Sauce- Boil equal parts honey, brown sugar, and hot sauce.

Is it worth making an extra trip to the supermarket for hot sauce? I did my big grocery order already.
