I just got a new oven today in honor of Pesach. A huge treat and we are really excited.
EXCEPT.... we turned it on and OMG. The smell is so horrid, I can't breath. I turned it off right away and now I don't know what to do! I heard this is normal, but I have zero experience with such things. Any advise???

Put on 550 for about 45 min. Seems to have helped.

You have to burn it out. Yeah it's gross, it's the chemical they coat it with I think
Leave the house for a bit while it's going, take a nice walk
