Seder Night
Even if I nap on Shabbos
I usually go to bed very early
Not this week
Too much to do
And I’m exhausted
All tips and tricks appreciated

1) drink coffee
2) accept that you might nod off at some point(s). I am pregnant and I know that I will.

I'm with you. In order not to fall asleep, I get up and stretch my legs frequently. If I sit too long, I will most definitely fall asleep. I also go to the back pages of the hagaddah where they have interesting stories or explanations, and I do some reading. Just sitting and listening and mouthing along will have me conk out. At least if I'm doing some active reading, it keeps me more alert. I alternate with these two things and it usually helps me push through.

This year you can nap all shabbos. Chometz seuda/shalos seuda already done by 10 am.

You can't fall asleep while cooking, serving, clearing table & being upright n active

I don't know OP's situation, but you can only nap all Shabbos if you have nobody to watch.

Erev pesach I usually don't have time to nap plus I am up through the night on Bedikas chometz to finish al the work. Now bedikas chometz is 2 nights before seder. So you get to sleep Fri night + nap on shabbos

Raising hand as someone else who gets up during magid - peel eggs, check food, etc.
Just make sure you don't miss Rabbi Gamliel and pesach, matzah, marror.

I have slept through many parts of seder. My husband wakes me up for the important parts. It’s not unheard of.

Lol. I do this too and now it became a family joke. My husband yells “Mommy! Pesach, Matzah, Marror”...imitating his father .When he was a kid , my MIL would be in the kitchen to keep herself awake . So when my DH makes that announcement, it means it’s time for me to come back to the table . A new Pesach tradition being passed down from father to son😀.
