For those of us living in the uk, we have an unusual situation. The clocks move forward an hour officially on Motzei Shabbos. So each Kehilla has to decide if they change their clocks and watches before Shabbos or wait till Chol Hamoed to make the change.
I am interested to know what others in the UK are doing because there are advantages and disadvantages with each way.
A Kosheren Pesach and Good Shabbos/Yom Tov to everyone.

Yeah super crazy, so many things are reliant on proper zman! Some clocks change automatically and then some not. Hatzlacha to UK

It happened around thirty years ago when I was a teenager - and saying that makes me feel old! At that time people didn't have devices which adjusted automatically, and everyone had to decide. I don't remember what the official decision was, but I remember all the announcements in shul being given in both 'time zones'.

"Shacharit tomorrow will be at 7:00 GMT, and 8:00 BST.
You should finish eating chametz by 9:00 GMT, or 10:00 BST."
Etc.

Then there were people like my father who insisted on wearing two watches, one set to each time - and then got confused which one he was referring to!

I think we stuck to GMT through Yom Tov. Shabbos was complicated and we had to eat early anyway, but sticking to GMT meant the seder started earlier. And we were working with time that our body was used to.

Very glad that I live in Israel now, where we change the clocks on Thursday night and don't run into these problems.

In our shul we were told to change it just before the zman so everyone will be on the new clock.

As long as every shul etc. announces both zmanim who cares what individuals decide. I think it’s personal. My dh claims he would keep the old , and I said I would switch before y”t.
Not that we are being in the UK this year, but dh is English.

The calendar has both times in, summer and winter time.

I will probably change some of my clocks only before yom tov.
