Yes totally normal we have the same. Here’s what helps- I switch off between structured and unstructured activities. For example, we’ll play play dough, then I’ll read them books, then they’ll play lego then they’ll match up socks

I hear this consolation all the time. Doesn’t make me feel better about the 20 years of childhood filled with so much hate towards each other. I wish there’s something to do to stop it. It seriously sickens me.
