Confession: I'm not cool enough to join a mimouna when I should be switching back my kitchen, and I haven't gotten around to it otherwise.

Who else is still in the club?

No mimouna, and I haven't cooked chametz yet, but I had a falafel in pita on Sunday.

You're better than I am!

We went on a trip yesterday, and the kids were asking for pizza on the way home. I almost caved and bought... And then I was like "we still have 2 kilos of matzah, and so much cheese!" So we just made matzah pizza at home.

DH bought cereal first thing in the morning. Kids could hardly make it through one week, no need to add any more!

There's no way on earth I can bring myself to look at another matzah product. I lived on matzah pizza over Chol Hamoed and now just the though makes me sick 🤢

We didn't. And no pressure from the kids to get Pizza. We hate waiting on crowded lines.

Oh you're from Israel, so you were out of Pesach a while ago.

My parents did things like this to me and I still burn with rage when I think about it. Maybe your dynamics are different, but my parents were so smug about it, it really hurt. Maybe it’s something small, but it was so important to me and they just didn’t care.

It does not take me that long to put my kitchen back after pesach, so we had mac and cheese about 2 hours after pesach was out. I have a bunch of items for pesach that I really only use a few times, so as I am done with each thing, I put it in the basement (not away, just out of my kitchen). So as I go, there is less and less in the kitchen and living areas for pesach. We have a ton of matza left over this year but I would never make my kids eat it over something else. If they don't mind, thats a different story.

Where I live, the pizza shops are closed until isru chag, so thats not even on the table for us BH! But my teenager raced to Dunkin the second we heard havdalah and beat the lines!

I haven't had true chometz yet, but I did have a latte this morning from a reopened café that sells chometz.

Last night I ate matza pizza and this morning I finished some pesach "cake" for breakfast. I plan to get some real pizza for lunch.

After cleaning all the Pesach stuff away, I baked pizza for my helpful crew!
