Here is realeez's super creamy recipe.

Grease crockpot and then line with parchment paper (the oil will keep the paper in place).

First layer: meat and bones
Second layer: grated onion
Third layer: shredded potatoes
Fourth layer: lots of salt

Don't add any water, oil or eggs. Don't mix the layers.

Cover crockpot and cook on low for 20-24 hours.

I'm bumping this up because I want to try it this year but don't have a Pesach'dige crockpot. Is there any way to make this in a pot on the stovetop or in a pan in the oven?

Make it in an extra deep 9x13 pan in a 200/215 oven for the 18-24 hours.

Thanks!

I want to make it for second days this year. I think I'll make it erev YT and let it sit in the oven until Shabbos at which point I'll either leave it in till the day meal or I'll put it onto the blech. I leave my oven on over YT at about 200.
