Are they equally comfortable/uncomfortable? I've never been tested for covid and will need to take a test in the next few days. Rapid or PCR. Anyone can chime in? Thank you.

If you Dont think you are sick and just doing it for work or whatever, rapid will give you fastest results. As long as job is ok with rapid, which is less accurate.
If you feel sick, may want to do both... Rapid, for instant results, and pcr to be sure it's accurate...
There are advantages to both... I have done both depending on circumstances.

I was petrified for months to get a test because of the "pain".
When we came down with covid in February I had no choice. Wasn't bad at all!!!
Try to find a place where they let you swab yourself. It is so much more reassuring to feel what you're doing. I took my kids to a few different labs and they didn't complain about any of them except the one place where a person swabbed for them

some tests are throat swab alone and seems much easier though it may depend upon the person administering it

I'm doing it because I am due shortly. Hospital protocol.
Rapid is accepted for same day, PCR is accepted for 5 days.
