I would like my teenagers to learn some very basics about investments, budgeting etc.
I am thinking if I could share a basic website that has some information about investment options along with some education about budgeting and money, I will give them each a nominal amount (I have a few teens) to invest.
They don't have smartphones and I don't want them using apps. Is there a basic financial literacy website that you can recommend I have them read? (maybe even a little interactive, my youngest is not yet quite a teen).
Once they do that and I give them each their $100 or so, what website would you recommend I allow them to use for investment purposes? I am not expecting them to make a lot of money, I just want them to have the opportunity to learn "on the job" a little bit about the subject.
They do each have some of their own money and they can certainly invest more if they want but I would provide the initial seed money.
