I'm planning to get a pretty salad bowl and make a nice salad . Your mil will love it since she will be able to use the bowl again and again.

Like- last yr my dd was a kallah- evrone got fake glasses and a wine ina bridal package- and for mil I added a real crysatl ice bucket with rock candy for ice....

mil doenst appreciate anything I bring on purim-maybe too distracted? I brought stuff every year and she has no clue the next day what it was.

thank you for the reminder! I completely forgot that mil lives out of town and I have to mail her MM ahead of time to be sure it gets there by Purim. OK, no need to panic, there's still time. It was worth joining just for this!

Ok pink
here goes: ( ready for some work)

Use a shoe box, stick teh lid upright- drape it red tissue paper
teh center should have a picture album ( ill elaborate oon that)
and teh sides should have chocolate covered strawberries tuxedo style ( half black, half white, bowties, etc)
So... the effect of your shaloch manos is blck red and white- see?
You can also stuff a pair of white magicians gloves in teh center for effect

ALBUM - take pics og teh kids or kid doing cute things ( in closets, under table etc....) Buy a nice album- and label teh outside- "THE TRICKS UP OUR CHILDRENS SLEEVES"
