I use dawn to get out oil stains. And after that, a concoction of stain removers, oxi clean and regular detergent. Let it sit a while and then wash.
Don't dry in dryer. Air dry and check if the stain came out. If it didn't, repeat the process.

Dawn dish soap breaks down the oil.
Make clothes wet in a clean sink or tub. Put some Dawn dish soap on the palms of you hands and spread and rub the soap into the stains. Let sit half hour. Scrub out stains with a soft cleaning toothbrush. Rinse soap out completely (suds hurt HE washing machines). Check to make sure stain is out otherwise repeat. Then put the wet clothes into the washing machine and wash as usual.

Palm olive dish soap for oil stains. Tried and proven this week  my pesach tablecloth had an oil stain.
Rub it onto the oil spot, let sit for a few min and wash.

I always get oil stains. I keep a dish soap in a pump bottle my laundry room for this purpose. Works beautifully every time.
