Really need chair protectors to put on chair legs, because my wood floor is becoming a lovely mosaic of scratches and scrapes. Anything recommendation for good chair protectors that will last would be really appreciated.

These are phenomenal. Been using them for 5 years. I remove and wash them once in 2 months.

The guy in center of town once recommended specific ones for me that I didn't end up trying but he said they're the best. Just go ask him (in general he's a good person to ask about most random house things)

Our house was built in 1900, and the kitchen had a parquet floor from around the 1920s. My father would only allow wooden chairs in the kitchen, since he claimed they did the least damage. Wherever possible they had to be lifted, not dragged.

With daily use the floor still got scratched. Every so often we would all be banned from entering the kitchen for a couple of days while he sanded the floor down, cleaned it and resealed it.

The dining room had a similar floor, but for some reason my parents covered that one with a carpet.
