I know someone who did.
But it didn't last once she stopped. And you cannot take it too often, it's not safe.
So if you're Dr approves it and you have a maintenance plan for after, it might be a good option. But you need to have a plan to keep the weight loss from creeping back up.

I took it for about 6 months. I lost weight slowly on it but gained it back once I stopped taking it. I hated having to inject myself. I am not a needle person.
It also gave me horrible constipation. Sorry for TMI.

I have great insurance so it was just co-pays of $15 I think. Idk if I would recommend it if it was hundreds of dollars. I only tried it because it was covered.

So interesting that this thread came up. I was literally just at my doctor and he suggested this to me.
But I was nervous that as soon as I go off it, I will gain it all back and gain more.

Don’t take Saxenda. I started it 5 days ago. The side effects are just not worth it.

I had such bad diarrhoea and also vomited a lot to the point I felt really faint.
