Did any one have an experience with a baby that they vaccinated and the baby’s leg is still a bit swollen weeks after.
The doc says he doesnt believe its from the vaccine and wants me to go to a pediatric orthopedist but im convinced that her leg was not swollen before the vaccine. Im waiting to hear what orthopedist will say but I am quite nervous.
My baby is 7 months old. She got these shots more than 6 weeks ago. She is using her leg and is acting normal and reaching her milestones but I am nervous. It looks like one leg is chubbier than the other.

The orthopedist can measure and evaluate.

Do you see any redness or tenderness? If you take a measuring tape and measure the leg circumference for both legs, the number might help.

I hope you get an answer soon!

I had red swelling for weeks after I got a vaccine.
It ended up becoming infected and I needed antibiotics for the swelling and redness to go down.

Same with one of my children. After 6 weeks it started getting worse and infection started to travel, and skin was very hot. Benadryl, ice, antibiotics... We had a whole regiment till it went away.

DOH is now forcing the child to take that same shot again or be removed from school.
