Thinking of buying new sheital with a lace front after reading a lot of posts on this website...
But I want to line it....Has anyone lined their lace front though so that its not see through?

I heard that people put makeup on the part so that it is still a natural color but isn't see through.

Anyone? Theyre so expensive but I heard such good things about them... I just dont feel comfortable with the idea that its see through. Any other options?

Lace front or lace top?
People line the lace top. The lining doesn't go all the way to the end of the wig so you still need to blur the connection with makeup.
A lace front is pretty useless to line. It's such a small section and you need to leave the last little bit unlined anyway otherwise it looks ugly.
I saw a lined lace front and it was very ugly.
Just get yourself a flat top regular wig.

I went back into Zlata Wigs (Crown Heights on Kingston Avenue) to get my sheitels looked at (after three years my weekday needs work). She now sells lace front that are fully lined. She is a wonderful sheitel macher who is very warm and above board and has great pieces. I’m very happy with her and her products. If you’re looking for the natural look and comfortable fit of the lace front but lined, she has them. I’ll have to consider it when buying sheitelach.
