Shaving my legs is entirely for astetic (and I guess social ) reasons. But when I don't shave my armpits for a few days, its itchy and uncommon! I try to make sure to shave pretty close to Shabbat on Friday (armpits) so that they won't itch on Shabbat. When it's a two day chag, I'm usually uncomfortable on the second day, more so if weather is hot.

I'm 35 and I absolutely shave my armpits regularly. If I only have time for either legs or armpits, I'll shave armpits.
Itchy hairy armpits just don't work for me.

Yes, I shave. I wax elsewhere but for whatever reason I just never wanted to wax there.
I see some posters mention a connection between removing hair and sweating. I don't think it has anything to do with sweating or not sweating. More that when you do sweat the hair hold the sweat and causes more stink. I don't know. I sweat the same either way but I smell way better for much longer with the hair gone.

I'm in my 40s, starting waxing my underarms in my teens and continue til now. The hair has gotten very fine and blond so I can go weeks in between waxing.

I picked other because I do shave, but not on a consistent basis. I’ll go months without shaving or I’ll do it every week. It’s not something I really harp about.

Did it once or twice years ago but stopped because I found no reason to continue. I hardly sweat (skinny), noone sees it .....

my underarms are untouched. Dh doesn't care and I've got plenty of more visible hair to worry about
