Any ideas of a part time night job for dh so we can earn more $. Things are pretty tight. Dh has a 9-6 job and I work part time. We really can use a bit more $. Even just for 2-3 hours a day to earn a bit more.
Any ideas of what to look for or any actual opening would be great. Something even preferably from at home. Tia

If you are ok with him not being home at night then he can take the overnight shift (usually 11pm-7/8 am) a few times a week at a group home for people with disabilities. But make sure that its overnight asleep since some can be awake and that would not be good for him if he works during the day.

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming . Can ask him about tutoring but dont think its his type. Uber he wouldn't feel comfortable in our neighborhood/community, and also not really cut out for working with special needs.

Does he type hebrew? There are people here in lakewood that transcribe notes/chidushim for men in yeshiva.

Where are you located? What is he skilled at? (What's his day job?)

If he's already working a nine hour day - presumably plus commuting in each direction - adding another few hours in the evening sounds pretty exhausting. Is there any way you could expand your part time job to get some extra money instead?

If not, then you are effectively talking about your husband never being home during the week. Are you sure that is something you can cope with?

Something from home, like making fundraising calls. It sounds too much otherwise.

Don't you have to be there during the day to watch them setting everything up? Even during the evening it's more than a couple of hours.

So we were thinking along the hrs of 8-11. Yes he can type hebrew. Something easy from home would be great. Maybe some computer work. Fundraising calls usually I thought you don't get paid for its more volunteer.
Also I cant really extend my hours.
We understand this will be hard and exhausting but hopefully it will just be temporary to help out a bit now, for maybe just a year or so not as a long term thing.

How about he gets an early morning job so he doesn’t start a job when he’s already exhausted from a long day?
Maybe he can do an early morning route for a school/ Yeshiva. I know that many boys schools start really early like 7-7:30 and he can earn a few hundred bucks a week from that less than an hour route. They pay nicely.
