My kids wear short sleeves whenever they want. Even in the winter. They pick their own clothes.

I think this is more a function of the day's low temperatures than the high temperatures. In the afternoons, it's already short-sleeve-appropriate-weather, but the mornings are still too cold.
I'm waiting until morning temps are approaching 60 on the way to the bus stop.
But if my kids have interest in layering short sleeves with a sweatshirt, maybe earlier. So far, they have no interest.

Probably after Shvous. Maybe for Shvous already.
With the cooler mornings and warmer afternoons days, I rather my kids wear thin long cotton than shorts.. I pull up their sleeves if it gets too warm.

My kids are wearing for shabbos but long sleeves for weekday. They need to wear their new shabb clothes already

I think 72 needs short sleeves with a light jacket. Most of my kids only wear short sleeves.
