OP, have you discussed with your daughter what her concerns are? Can you make an appointment to go with her to her doctor and discuss the pros and cons with a knowledgeable medical professional rather than her getting her info from her friends and/or media?

When I was 16 I would refuse any needle jab offered or needed even a finger prick. doesn’t make her selfish but a teen. I don’t think you should make her just yet. I am pro vacation I had mine but I hate getting shots still now .I asked my teen not old enough yet what she thinks I am not sure how I would feel about this for my kids yet but she was like definitely yes.
