S/o from poster looking for community in Dallas where kids play together outside organically and walkable.
I love living in Washington Heights where everyone lives within 10 blocks and walks to the supermarket, you see people you know on the street during the week, 3 same playgrounds, etc. Anyone know of any places in NYC commuting distance for JPF/ RWMO family that are walkable like this? Looking for somewhere less transient.

NYC only ? If you are willing to venture further a lot of areas in the five towns have kids coming and going, playing outside, at the local parks etc.

Her cohort has to be able to afford the city. Also, their kids deserve to have some fresh air and greenery and be safe on their blocks
