Any touristy things to do within an hour's drive from Brooklyn/Queens or NJ for a couple? Parking space preferred.

I'm afraid there wouldnt be anywhere to park.

If you like hiking - you can hike The Giant Stairs along the Palisades. Park at Stateline Lookout between exits 2 and 3 on the Palisades (in NJ).

Prospect Park-Brooklyn

Kakiat park near monsey has some great trails and plenty parking.
Bear Mountain is a little harder but also great trails and parking.
I also love Cheesequake Park in NJ.
