OP, it does hurt a lot. However, I think that if you regain your equilibrium then she will too! It's a perfect learning experience that will help your dd through life. Teaches her about the ups and downs in life, you gotta roll with the punches. Good luck op

As someone who works for a school and is involved in the recruiting process, we have a lot of girls applying for jobs around this time of year. Many of them are from the same class obviously. However, we get many more applicants than we need, so we can't give everyone a job. It shouldn't be taken as personal.
