We just found out that we will be relocating to lakewood specifically Westgate over the summer. I have a 4 year old who will need play group. Any and all suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Are they all in private homes or are there free standing preschools? What is the price range I should assume I will be paying? What hours do they operate during the day? Thank you for all advice, numbers, and suggestions.

for a girl. I am really flexible since I know I am late in the game. I would prefer until 3pm. I don't even know my options in terms of daycare versus home play groups. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Daycare is twice the price of playgroup.
You can get 9:20 to 3:00 in a playgroup but the Morah takes off whoever the school takes off. So no playgroup the week before Pesach, midwinter vacation, snow days and whatever.
Are you ok with that or do you need your kid out every single day?
You shouldn’t have an issue finding for a girl. Boys are way harder.
