If anyone has this item, do you use it on a non ikea bunk bed? I know it's made for their kura bed specifically so I am wondering how much the clips open up? I want to know if it will fit on the bunk bed we have. Measurement of the thickness of the bunk bed rail you are attaching it to would be extremely helpful! Thanks.

I have it but I don't know if it will fit another bunk bed. It locks into the woods on the side of the kura, so I don't think it will work with everything
