How old was your child with autism when they potty trained?
At what age did you start the process?

Mine was 4. We started at age 3. Honestly, his school was very involved, both in the process and in letting us know when they thought he was ready to start. And they did training readiness for the kids every day, so it was already part of his routine when they started.
They trained him almost fully at school before we really started at home- if he asked, we took him, but let him lead, until school thought he was ready. And then we used the system they recommended/the same words. And there was a video involved, though I can't remember which.
