As long as they're in the infant carseat. I generally switch around 6 months because it becomes too heavy for me to carry, but most kids fit till around a year

Till your child outgrows the weight limit OR the height limit of the infant seat OR his head is less than an inch from the top of the shell of the car seat. These are the factors that make the car seat no longer a safe riding option for your child.
