They recently came out with a "sequal" to daddy day care, daddy day camp but they didnt use any of the same actors so its a little weird.

I've watched the 1950's version & the newer one. I bought the old version for my kids because it's very clean. Then I got the sequel - Belles on Their Toes but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

The 2nd book is about the kids as they grow older, IIRC, it's got romance in it.

I read this in school growing up and one of the writers lived nearby and came to our school. I remember being so excited. She must have been in her late 70s at the time.
also I found out that the mother of the 12 was a scientist and saw her in a book about famous women.
Now of course, this isn't too far from a lot of people's realities in many frum communities! (12 children)
