This may sound like a silly question but it is coming from someone who wants very badly to move to Israel but also appreciates privacy and wide open spaces. I haven't been to Israel in over 10 years and know things have changed in the last 10 years. OK so with that intro- my question: how densely populated does it feel in the center of the country specifically RBS? Can you get into nature easily? Are there quiet streets that you could live on? Exercise on?
I really want to live up north but I just am not finding a strong Torani community that fits our needs.
I follow some of the RBS facebook groups and am seriously getting scared off by the talk about noise level, hardships finding apartments, and expense.
Thanks,

RBS is surrounded by amazing nature, hiking and forests, but the city itself is very densely populated.
It's mostly apartment buildings. Even the private homes are very close together.
Some have amazing views of the forests.
You can walk to road 3855 and cross into fabulous hiking trails (have done this many times) or drive just a few minutes to many more hiking trails.
Neve shamir (RBS hey) will hopefully not be so crowded and many of the buildings are at the edge and have beautiful views. It's also walking distance to Park yarmut which is a beautiful, large park where people can exercise. (I walk there several times a week)
There are also yishuvim very close to Bet shemesh which have much more space.
But its nothing like the north, which is so expansive.
RBS is the center of the country.
