Just ran into this and love it. But the material has some velvet on it it seems.

Fashion experts please help Very Happy

I can see two things wrong with it.

One, it's 100% polyester, which is going to be sweaty and sticky. You are better off with cotton gauze, especially at that price. You can get a similar dress from Shein for about $20, and free returns.

Second, it's very see through. You'll see the underneath bodice and straps, and it's not that tznius. Go for something with a more opaque look.

I don’t really see the velvet. But in general it looks very float and summery, which is very “in” this season.

Its really pretty, I love it. I don't think you can see the velvet so it would be fine.
I guess with a shell dress underneath or you will line it?

There doesn't seem to be any velvet in the dress. It's a beautiful summer dress, but you probably will need to wear a shell dress underneath.

I think I'll buy it and see what it looks like. Based on the online picture most are saying it works for summer...

And worst case I'll save it for later
