I’m thinking about selling my hair since it’s Bh gorgeous, really long, and I want to try a short haircut. Any leads on how to go about it?

Thanks for your response. I’ve also donated my hair in the past, but I’m thinking of selling it this time around, partially because the extra cash would be helpful.

I once had a custom sheitel made for myself from my own hair.
It involved making lots of tiny ponytails and cutting the hair really close to my head (like a boys haircut) in order to get the maximum length from the cut hair.
Also, if you've ever had your hair thinned, then the hairs will be different lengths and most are too short to be useful.

Sorry if off topic, but is that halachically allowed, to make a sheitel from your own hair? It's okay to cut it and then put it back on your head?
