I'm American and yeshivish and although I wouldn't call myself a Zionist, I was always grateful to soldiers of the IDF for protecting all the Jews in Israel.
Every time there was a conflict, I davened for them all to stay safe.
Now, with the currently developing situation, my feelings are stronger than before. That's because for the first time, I have a close relative who's in a dangerous role in the army and I'm scared for his safety. It changed the whole picture for me.
Thank you chayalim for your bravery!! And thank you to all the family members, all the mothers who must worry at night...
Iy"H, the situation should get better and all will remain safe, but my perspective is changed forever.

If anyone wants to help, this is a fantastic organization. You don't need to live in Israel to make a difference. Just knowing that someone, even a stranger, cares about them can make a huge difference in the life of a soldier.

This organization provides all kinds of help for Israelis. United with Israel provides bomb shelters, anti-terror vehicles, security equipment, relief to terror victims' families and much more. They helped a lot with the Meron tragedy, too.

Bump.
Thank you to all the soldiers who didn't get a wink of sleep last night, because of the constant barrage of rockets.
May Hashem protect you and keep you safe.

Thank you. My heart is in Israel now and davening for you all. Some of the threads here are painful to read or even look at the titles, so I avoid them, but just know we’re thinking of you even if we’re not posting.
