I am completely overwhelmed by these window shades my house came with. They are wood slats and each one needs to be wiped off top and bottom- it feels like an impossible job and they keep getting dusty. Can anyone tell me how to clean them super fast? Dusting doesn't work. Should I replace them all with something less maintenance? What does everyone do?

Is it a very light color that the dust is noticeable?

My sis's cleaning help taught her to vacuum it? Do you have a vacuum cleaner? I didnt for 4 years.. and then stimulus money came for pesach 2020 lol.

Ra mom - I tried that but it did not work.
I guess mine have not been cleaned in a while and have a ton of dust and debris.

You can do a deep clean once and then maintain it with dusting, then wiping down as needed.
You can start with Murphy Oil spray and a soft rag. Have each kid take turns with a few slats.

I use a Clorox wipe and do each one. It takes about one minute for each one. I do it weekly.
