Depending on the chassidus they may have support from the community.
Pay increases as you go up from chassidish - yeshivish - MO.
MO schools also tend to have more special programs such as resource room etc. Outside larger communities (and even to some extent within major communities) Jewish schools are competing with non Jewish schools for teachers.

But out of NY, many areas have vouchers, which are super helpful.

It's not "many." It's just that two states that do, Florida and Ohio, have significant Jewish populations.

I think southbend has vouchers as well but they may be exclusively income based, not sure.
