DH is on a grain (including quinoa, buckwheat etc) and sugar free diet, including no potatoes/sweet potatoes, soy, maple syrup. One kid is severely allergic so nuts and seeds are also off the menu. I feel so bored of everything I make.
Here's our menu so far
Sunday Night
Sourdough bread
dill dip
matbucha
Herb Crusted Salmon on a bed of lettuce with garlic mayo on the side
Chicken soup
Tangy capons
no sides....??
Monday
Sourdough bread
dips
Grilled chicken salad- so blah....anything else?
Minute steaks
Mashed butternut squash w/ fried onions
cole slaw
Monday Night
Sourdough bread
Dips
First course ideas needed!!!
Oyster steak marinated in wine
some sides...?
Tuesday
Sourdough bread
Dips
First course of some sort...
Flanken Roast
Garlic green beans
I'm so not motivated to cook cuz everything is so boring!! Please help! Any and all revisions are welcome!

Can you make lots of yummy veggie side dishes, and add a few starchy sides for those that can eat it?
Cauliflower mock potato salad
Zucchini spaghetti salad
Summer squash & tomato sauté
Snow peas & carrots julienne
Roasted asparagus
Bruschetta zucchini
Baby spinach & heirloom tomato sauté
Rainbow veggie kebabs
chicken soup with zucchini "noodles" and chicken "matzah" balls

Snow peas & carrots julienne
snow peas, stemmed and string removed
carrots, cut with julienne peeler
Sauté in olive oil for about 2 minutes. Season with coarse salt to taste. I could finish a whole pan in a minute.
Cauliflower mock potato salad
Cut frozen cauliflower into mini florets (important for good potato salad taste). Place into a colander over the sink and pour a full pot of water over it to steam the cauliflower. Allow to drain. Make your potato salad recipe and use the steamed cauliflower.
The rest of the recipes are here.
